The Problem

Governments spend trillions.
Most SMEs never bid.

The US, UK, and EU spend over $4 trillion annually on government contracts. Yet SMEs capture a disproportionately small share, not because they lack capability, but because the process locks them out.
33 hrs
Per proposal, manually
Teams spend an average of 33 hours on a single RFP response. Government bids with heavy compliance requirements can take far longer.
Source: Loopio RFP Trends and Benchmarks 2026, 1,500+ teams
Small teams
Stretched across every bid
Many SMEs write bids with the people they already have, next to the delivery work that pays the bills. A strong bid needs hours that team rarely has spare, so good contracts go unbid.
72%
Of eligible federal contract dollars go to larger firms
Small businesses won about 28% of eligible federal contract dollars in fiscal year 2025, and their total fell from the year before. The rest went to firms that are not small businesses.

How It Works

Configure once. AutoTender handles the rest.

Three steps. Fifteen minutes. Then AutoTender runs continuously.
Step one

Tell us about your company

Past projects, team credentials, certifications and pricing rules, and whether AutoTender may pick RFPs and start bids for you. A 15-minute guided setup builds your bidding profile.

Upload a capability statement, past proposals or CVs to fill in much of it for you. Either way, about 15 minutes.
Step two

AutoTender finds, writes, verifies, and fills out the portal form

Scans 60 procurement portals every day, most of them at least twice a day. Matches opportunities, writes proposals, checks its claims against your records with up to 12 specialist AI agents, checks pricing with 11 rules in code, and fills out the form on the portal for you to submit.

A claim your records contradict is corrected or held for you; one they cannot confirm is marked for you before the bid goes out.
Step three

You review, then you submit

Every bid comes to you for review. Full dashboard, full audit trail. You click Submit on the portal.

The Pricing Firewall checks every price in code. A serious error, such as a total far from the sum of its lines, stops the bid until it is fixed; anything else is shown to you as a warning before you submit.
The Engine

What happens to your bid before it goes out.

Up to 12 specialist AI agents, each with one job, check each other's work. What they can fix, they fix. What they cannot is put in front of you before the bid goes out.
Requirements extracted
RFP documents are parsed into structured requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria automatically.
Fit assessed
Your company is scored across 5 dimensions against the RFP before any writing begins. Low-fit RFPs are flagged.
Written from your records
Your proposal is written from your company data, and each requirement's answer shows the evidence it used.
Checked against your records
Numbers, dates, certifications and team credentials are checked against your records. A claim your records contradict is corrected or held for you; one they cannot confirm is marked for you.
Every requirement mapped
Mandatory and scored requirements are extracted and matched to your response. Gaps are flagged before submission.
Quality scored and improved
Your proposal is scored against evaluation criteria. Sections below threshold are automatically rewritten.
Final gate
Pricing goes through 11 checks in code, and each bid's wording is checked so it does not repeat another AutoTender customer's bid for the same RFP. A serious pricing error stops the bid; anything else that needs you is listed before you submit.
The Pipeline
From RFP to portal submission.
Every bid goes through the same five steps: discovery, qualification, writing and checking with up to 12 specialist AI agents and the pricing firewall, your review, and portal submission.

Before, during and after

From the first notice to the signed contract.

AutoTender does not stop at the draft. It watches for what is coming, works beside you while you bid, and keeps going after you submit.

Before you bid

  • Early warning. Advance notices of contracts that are coming, and an alert when the real RFP is published (US and UK).
  • Your renewals. A warning before contracts you already hold come up for bidding again.
  • Capability statements for US sources-sought notices, ready for you to send.
  • Bids it starts for you, if you let it choose: at most one a day, and never with your last credit.

While you bid

  • Partners for bigger contracts. It finds partner companies, invites them (no account needed) and handles the NDA, the agreement and the documents they owe you.
  • Questions to the buyer, drafted for you, with a reminder before a stated cut-off.
  • RFP changes. On most portals, a new deadline or title from the buyer is picked up: AutoTender reads the RFP again, updates your draft, or tells you what changed.
  • Deadline alerts at 72, 48 and 24 hours, and a calendar of every date.

After you submit

  • Results found for you on US federal, UK (Find a Tender) and EU (TED) RFPs. Anywhere else, record yours in one click.
  • Feedback after a loss. Your request to the buyer is drafted where the rules give you that right.
  • After a win, what you promised to deliver is listed, with reminders as dates approach.
  • Every result counts. Wins, and losses with the buyer's feedback, shape your next bid.
Built for federal bidding: SAM.gov notices, set-asides, a small business subcontracting plan when a solicitation needs one from you, and GSA eBuy RFQs saved with the Chrome extension.
You send everything to the buyer yourself. AutoTender drafts; you decide.
For Bid Writers & Consultancies
Handle More Clients. Keep Your Margins.
You charge $2,000 to $3,300 per bid. AutoTender writes and checks the first full draft in about half an hour, so your hours go on strategy, review and client relationships.

Take on more clients

By hand, each bid takes 15 to 40 hours. With AutoTender writing and checking the first draft, the same hours stretch across more clients. The calculator below shows what that could mean for you.

Keep more of each fee

Stop spending hours on compliance tables, portal forms and document assembly. AutoTender handles the repetitive work at a fixed monthly price, so more of each fee is margin.

Your expertise, amplified

Upload client data, configure up to 5 client profiles on Pro, and let AutoTender produce first drafts you refine with your sector knowledge.

No more deadline panic

A deadline calendar for each client, and on Pro, the Chrome extension fills the portal form and you click Submit. Notifications tell you which client new matching RFPs are for.

Pro Feature

Chrome extension for portal submission.

Install the AutoTender Chrome extension and it fills the bid form on supported procurement portals. Detects the portal, maps your data, fills forms automatically. You just click Submit.

Portal detection

The extension recognises 132 procurement portals across 50 countries and fills the bid form on 115 of them, including buyer portals on shared platforms such as Bonfire, JAGGAER, OpenGov, Ivalua, Coupa and SAP Ariba (one click to allow each site). Activates automatically when you open one.

Portal form-fill

Fills the bid form on 115 of them, including ProContract, JAGGAER, Mercell and In-Tend: bid data, company details and pricing. It turns the form's pages, stops before anything that may send your bid, and lists everything it filled for you to check.

Gets stronger with every bid

Every bid makes the next one stronger.

AutoTender learns from your own results, edits and choices, so each proposal starts where your best ones left off. What it learns from your proposals is used only for your account.

Learns from your results

Record a win or a loss with the buyer's feedback, and your next proposal leans on what won and steers away from what lost.

Builds on your winning sections

Sections from RFPs you win become references for structure and style in later bids. They are never copied word for word.

Learns from your edits

The changes you make to drafts and the sections you rate shape how later drafts are written.

Your library grows

Each proposal you approve adds its reusable parts, such as past projects and your method, to your profile, ready for the next bid.

Writes in your voice (Pro)

On Pro and Enterprise, AutoTender learns your company's writing style from your own proposals, so drafts read like your team wrote them.

Sharper matches

The RFPs you bid on and the ones you skip teach AutoTender what to put first in your matches and alerts.

Trust

See everything. Question anything.

Every automated decision has a full audit trail. Nothing hidden, and nothing goes out unchecked.

Checked claims

Each claim is checked against your company records. If they contradict it, AutoTender corrects it, or holds the bid for you when it cannot; if they cannot confirm it, it is marked and the bid waits for you.

Pricing firewall

Eleven deterministic checks run in code, not by AI. A serious error aborts the bid; a softer finding is flagged as a warning. For some warnings a model may propose a corrected price, and a price that could not be brought into the RFP's range waits for you to approve it.

You click Submit

AutoTender writes the bid, attaches the documents and fills the portal form. You review it if you want, then click Submit.

Your data stays yours

Encrypted in transit and at rest. Never shared with other users or used to train models. Delete on request.

Infrastructure

Hosted with cloud providers that hold SOC 2 Type II audits. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

Compliance check

Before you see a draft, a compliance agent checks it against every requirement it finds in the RFP and flags any it has not answered. You can regenerate a section at no extra cost.

Why AutoTender exists

AutoTender was built after months of studying competitors and speaking with bid writers, SME owners, and procurement officers to understand why existing tools still leave so much of the work to their users, and why SMEs struggle to win contracts. AutoTender exists to solve the full problem, not just part of it.

You do not need to become an expert. That is the whole point.
AutoTender handles the expertise so you don't have to build it.
AutoTender finds opportunities you qualify for, writes a compliant proposal using your company's real data, and fills out the form on the portal. You review it if you want, then click Submit.

Pricing FAQ
What counts as a bid?
A bid is one full proposal, written and checked, ready for you to review. Editing it, regenerating a section, exporting it again, submitting it, or updating it for a change the buyer makes does not use another bid credit.
What happens to unused bids?
Unused bids do not roll over: your bids reset every month, on monthly and annual plans. If you need more bids in a month, you can buy add-on bids at $59 each: up to 3 a month on Starter and up to 10 on Pro.
Can I downgrade?
Yes. A switch from Pro to Starter is booked in Settings and takes effect at your next renewal, or at the end of your annual term if you pay yearly; until then you keep Pro. You keep all your proposals and data. You can also cancel at any time.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee, no onboarding fee, and no minimum contract. Start free, upgrade when ready.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. For Enterprise, payment by bank transfer can be arranged.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, for the first payment of a new subscription. Email support@autotender.ai within 14 days of that payment. We refund what you paid, less your plan's per-bid price for each bid you've used (your free bid isn't counted), and your plan ends straight away. Renewals and extra bids aren't refundable, except where the law requires it.
FAQ
Common Questions
What does AutoTender actually do?
AutoTender finds the RFPs you qualify for across 60 portals in 37 countries, writes each proposal from your company records, checks every claim and requirement before you see it, and on Pro its Chrome extension fills in the portal form. You click Submit. It also works before and after that: early warning of contracts that are coming in the US and UK, partners for contracts too big to win alone, and help with results, feedback and what you promised to deliver once you submit.
Why do I click Submit myself?
Because a bid is a binding offer, and the portals require the bidder to file it. AutoTender does the work; you make the decision.
What happens after I submit?
AutoTender keeps working. For US federal RFPs, UK RFPs on Find a Tender, and RFPs published on TED in the EU, it looks for the published result and records it for you; anywhere else, you record it in one click or paste the award email. If you lose, it drafts your request for the buyer's feedback where the rules give you that right, with the date to send it by on US federal RFPs. If you win, it lists what you promised to deliver, with reminders as dates approach. Wins, and losses with the buyer's feedback, shape your next bid. You send everything to the buyer yourself.
Can we bid for contracts too big for us alone?
Yes. AutoTender can find partner companies to bid with you, or you can add a partner you already know. It invites them by email (they do not need an account), handles the NDA and the teaming agreement, collects the documents each partner owes you and chases them as due dates near, and shows your margin at the split you agree.
How is this different from ChatGPT or other AI writing tools?
ChatGPT writes from whatever you paste into it. AutoTender writes from your company records and checks the draft before you see it: every claim against those records, every mandatory requirement against the RFP, and your pricing with 11 checks in code. The Chrome extension then fills in the portal's form for you to submit, and AutoTender learns from your wins, losses and edits, so each bid builds on the last.
Is my data safe?
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). It is never shared with other users or used to train any AI models. AutoTender runs on cloud providers that hold SOC 2 Type II audits (the audits are theirs, not ours; our Security page sets out exactly what we hold).
What portals do you support?
We scan 60 portals across 37 countries. Key sources include SAM.gov (US), Find a Tender (UK), PCS Scotland (UK), ProContract (UK), TED Europa (EU), BOAMP (FR), HILMA (FI), eTenders Ireland (IE), CanadaBuys (CA), NZ GETS (NZ), GeBIZ (SG), World Bank, plus 31 US state portals, 3 US school-district and local portals, and 14 more sources. Those are the places we find RFPs. The Chrome extension counts something different: it recognises 132 procurement portals across 50 countries, most of them portals where bids are submitted. It fills the bid form on 115 of them, including buyer portals on shared platforms such as Bonfire, JAGGAER, OpenGov, Ivalua, Coupa and SAP Ariba; on the rest it recognises the portal and you fill in the form yourself.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The Scout plan is free and includes RFP discovery across all 60 portals plus 1 free lifetime bid, written and checked the same way as a paid bid. You can read the whole proposal for free; upgrading lets you edit it, download its documents and see the full verification report. No credit card required.
How long does setup take?
About 15 minutes. You add your company details, past projects, team, certifications and pricing, and choose whether AutoTender may pick RFPs and start bids for you. Uploading a capability statement fills in much of it.
What if other AutoTender customers bid on the same RFP?
They can: there is no limit on who bids. Each bid is written from that company's own records, and before a draft reaches you AutoTender compares its wording with the other AutoTender bids for the same RFP and rewrites wording that repeats. If a passage is still too close after two rewrites, your draft comes to you marked for review with that passage listed, so you can make it your own. Nobody is told who else is bidding, and nobody sees anyone else's bid.
Does AutoTender cover US Department of Defense contracts?
No. RFPs from the US Department of Defense, its agencies and the US armed services are not covered: AutoTender does not find them or write bids for them, because that work needs certifications and controls, such as CMMC, that AutoTender does not hold. Military and security buyers outside the United States, and US federal civilian, state and local buyers, are generally covered where they publish on a portal we scan.
